Dr. Humera Naqvi, a board-certified internist, provides exceptional care at the Voss Family Clinic Sugar Land. She specializes in managing acute and chronic conditions, including heart disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, COPD, obesity, and diabetes. Her services extend to preventive care, weight loss, and nutritional counseling, helping patients lead healthier lives.
Dr. Naqvi earned her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in 2008 and completed her residency in internal medicine at Morristown Medical Center in 2011. She is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.
Her career spans primary care, hospitalist roles, and rehabilitation facilities, including positions at Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital and North Cypress Medical Center. I am a Board‑Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 30 years of diverse healthcare experience, including trauma surgery, critical care, internal medicine, primary care, outpatient medicine, and VA disability examinations. My background also includes serving as an adjunct professor at Concordia University in Austin, where I have had the privilege of educating and mentoring future nurses and nurse practitioners. I am dedicated to promoting healthy lifestyles and ensuring that every patient who comes to my practice receives clear, thorough answers to their questions and has their concerns addressed with the highest level of care and attention.
